The new All-in-one Job Costing Tool (JCT) is now available. Among other updates, the new JCT integrates the functionality of the current Summer Faculty JCT. This removes the need to keep up with multiple JCT versions. The new JCT also includes improvements to help address the complexity of costing for 9-month faculty while preserving current functionality for 12-month populations.

A new all-in-one Job Costing Tool (JCT) to become available soon. The new JCT will integrate the functionality of the current Summer Faculty JCT, removing the need to keep up with multiple JCT versions. The new JCT will also include improvements to help address the complexity of costing needs for 9-month faculty while preserving current functionality for 12-month populations.

The Workday Fall Update occurred on September 21. Updates in this release focused on refinements to the user interface.

Recent enhancements to the Hire Employee and Convert to Employee tasks in Workday improve the process for users and provide a more simplified experience when hiring employees and contingent workers. These enhancements also improve searching for pre-hires and former workers on the Hire Employee and Contract Contingent Workers tasks to help avoid creating duplicate records.

The Annual Commuter Subsidy Mass Process submission window is now open and will run until Wednesday, September 18, at 5 p.m. The process assists Colleges, Schools, and Units (CSUs) in processing a One-Time Payment (OTP) to eligible employees.

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, Workday, Inc. will implement their fall update (Workday 2024 R2). During the update, Workday may be unavailable, slow, or unresponsive. Due to these potential issues, we encourage everyone to delay accessing Workday on March 9 until the update is complete and the system returns to normal operation.

The submission window for the Flexible Work Arrangement (FWA) Mass Process is now open and will run until Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. This is a firm deadline.

On August 21, 2024, financial applications will receive an enhancement to improve navigation, discoverability, and overall user experience.
