The askUS Support Team assists users of UT's HR/Payroll and Financial systems, including Workday, *DEFINE, FRMS, and Electronic Office Management (EOM).
askUS is a searchable FAQ (frequently asked questions) about university-wide systems and processes. The askUS knowledge base is the best place to start when you have a question about how to use Workday. Along with assistance via phone/email, askUS Support also provides the specific support services listed below to assist administrative staff with the investigation of advanced issues and performance of certain operational tasks.

Business Process Services
Find out what to do when things go wrong with a business process by learning when to cancel it, fix it, or rescind it, and what to expect. Includes links to guidance and rescind request forms.
When an HR Partner, Security Partner, or other support roles in a unit are unable to access or approve a business process, askUS Support may be able to cancel or reassign the process.
On request, askUS Support can create a new sup org or make changes to existing sup orgs, including, inactivate, reactivate, change the name, manager, department code, subtype, superior org, default cost center, or primary location. askUS Support can also assist with moving vacant positions or moving 5 or more workers into a new or existing sup org.
askUS Support can sync department information across *DEFINE, the UT Department System, and Workday in response to requested changes to department-level (levels 1-7, or 9) organizations made through the Signature Desk.
Requests for security assignment change to any of the following roles: Security Partner, Manager, HCM Fiscal Analyst, or roles specific to BPO or Policy/Procedure Oversite Units.
Additional Support Services
The Signature Desk is a service offered through the askUS Support Team team and assists with unit code maintenance, Electronic Office Management (EOM) requests, and maintaining information in the UT Department System.
askUS Support can assist with the setup of Incidental Account Organizations in Workday which are used to track the account used for incidental costs such as university ID cards or background checks.
askUS Support can assist in situations where attempting to merge EIDs by an individual or administrator results in a Workday error.
