We are beginning the process of transitioning away from using the term Non-Tenure Track (NTT) faculty in favor of the new Professional-Track Faculty (PTF) title adopted by the University to refer to adjunct or contract faculty. The transition process will affect many systems (such as Workday), reports, documentation, and other resources.

Beginning with Summer 2024, the Mass End Employment Date Extension Process will allow CSUs to change compensation amounts for workers being extended as part of their process submission.

On Saturday, March 9, 2024, Workday, Inc. will implement their spring update (Workday 2024 R1). During the update, Workday may be unavailable, slow, or unresponsive. Due to these potential issues, we encourage everyone to delay accessing Workday on March 9 until the update is complete and the system returns to normal operation.

After hours, on Thursday, January 25, askUS Support and the askUS Knowledge Base will transition to a new home on askUS ServiceNow.

The move will provide campus with new web-based tools for submitting and viewing open requests for assistance. The new askUS Knowledge Base will offer users improved search capabilities and the option to browse articles by category. On Aug. 1, 2023, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) published a revised version of the Form I-9. Workday will receive the new version on October 20, 2023. On this date, all newly initiated Complete Form I-9s will be processed on this new version. Any in-progress Form I-9s started before October 20 must be completed by Friday, October 27.
