Transition from Non-Tenure Track to Professional-Track Faculty Terminology

We are beginning the process of transitioning away from using the term Non-Tenure Track (NTT) faculty in favor of the new Professional-Track Faculty (PTF) title adopted by the University to refer to adjunct or contract faculty. The transition process will affect many systems (such as Workday), reports, documentation, and other resources.

As this process is ongoing, expect to see both terms in use for some time until the project is complete. Regardless of the term used, current documentation should be considered up to date unless otherwise noted.
