Friday, October 22, 2021, at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the July 2021 time entry lock on October 31.
Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 10/16/21 - 10/31/21.
Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process, which runs Friday, November 5.
Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 11/1/21 - 11/15/21.
Single-Use Virtual Card Program Pilot Phase Begins
eBITS joins with Procurement and Payment Services to announce the launch of a new method of supplier payment called the Single Use Virtual Card Program. The program is currently in a pilot phase, with Beckman Coulter, Apollo Water Services LLC, Macartney Inc, Prototeck Sheetmetal Fabrication, and Jackson Laboratory as the initial suppliers participating in the program. Payment document creators may notice a few minor changes in the process of paying a supplier enrolled in the Single Use Virtual Card Program. Recent Workday Updates
- Users who support student positions may use the reason, Equity/Structural Adjustment, when performing a Request Compensation Change business process in Workday.
- Ad hoc Switch Primary Job events for student workers, nonemployees, and hourly jobs no longer route to an HR SWS Specialist or Academic Specialist for approval.
- The Job Costing Tool (JCT) recently received an update to fix an issue preventing users from entering multiple sub-periods of costing. Long Session JCT, Faculty Summer JCT

askUS Support, already available by phone or email, adds a convenient web form to the ways customers across the UT community can reach out for assistance. Answers to Common Questions Recently Received by askUS Support
Do I need to request a rescind to correct a new worker’s compensation amount?
No. In many cases, you can correct the situation on your own by initiating a Request Compensation Changeprocess and selecting Correction as the reason for the change. See the Request Compensation Change Workday Instructional Guide (WIG) for more information. You can always confirm whether you need to request a rescind by referring to the Rescind Request Matrix.
What do I do if I missed the recent Electronic Office Management (EOM) Basics session?
The presentation (PowerPoint) and video recording (Zoom) for the EOM Basics session are available on the Financial Systems Training Sessions webpage, along with those from other related sessions. How do I fix issues with a pre-Hire record?

How do I delete a draft cart in UT Market?
To delete a draft cart in UT Market, click the Shop tab, the My Carts and Orders subtab, and then the View Carts subtab. In the section labeled Draft Carts, you'll see carts created by you. ICYMI – Workday iOS Mobile App Update
Starting October 25, the Workday mobile app will begin supporting iOS 15 while removing support for iOS 13. Future updates will only support iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 14 and higher. Anyone needing to access Workday from iOS 13 or earlier on iPhone or iPad can still do so via a web browser. See the Employee self-service training page for more information about installing the Workday mobile app on your device.
Training Opportunities – Self-Paced or Instructor-Led
askUS Self-Paced Learning allows users to engage in training lessons and exercises at their own pace and convenience. Current offerings include Workday Fundamentals, Workday for Security Partners, and Financial Fundamentals.
Virtual Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses are held via Zoom and require registration via UTLearn.
