Friday, April 30, 2021 – Student Mass End Employment Date Extension Process submission window opens for summer 2021.
Friday, April 30, 2021, at 10 p.m. – Prior Period Time Entry Lock for January 2021.
Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for the 4/15/21 - 4/30/21 time period.
Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass End Additional Job / Termination Process.
Friday, May 7, 2021, at noon – Monthly Mass End Additional Job / Termination Process runs for May.
Friday, May 7, 2021 – April 2021 Close (Accounting).
Student Mass End Employment Date Extension Process Starts April 30
The Student Mass End Employment End Date Extension Process for summer 2021 will open on Frida, April 30, and run until Wednesday, June 9 at noon for Hourly and Salaried Student positions. In addition to extending the end employment date of student employees, the process can also update Scheduled Weekly Hours, Business Title, and Position Title. Mass Extend also covers changes related to creating TA/AI summer anchor jobs.
Academic Employment Dashboard Now Available in Workday
Recently, a reimagined Academic Employment dashboard replaced the Academic Personnel Management dashboard in Workday. The goal of the new dashboard is to assist staff supporting academic employment with processing, reporting, and other analytical needs. Quickly Address No-Call/Never-Worked Situations in Workday
No-Call/Never-Worked situations occur when a worker never shows up to work, and their start date has come and gone. Previously, addressing this problem required requesting a rescind from askUS Support. Now you can save time by handling most of these cases without the need to contact support by checking the Rescind Request Matrix and following the information in the No Call-Never Worked Workday Instructional Guide (WIG).

Use the YP1 command to change the default desk/view you are assigned to each time you log in to DEFINE. You can also use the YP1 command to change the default purchase center associated with your profile.
