Recent Update to UT Market and Point Plus Supports the Return to Campus
A recent update to UT Market and Point Plus allows departments to choose to receive deliveries at their department's on-campus location or Campus Distribution Services (CDS). This update reverses a March 2020 change made in response to COVID-19, which required CDS to receive most items delivered to campus to support the move to remote work.

FRMS Support for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer Ending
In November, FRMS will end support for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) web browser. The decision to end support for IE follows the announcement of IE’s upcoming retirement by Microsoft and the continued move away from IE by users of FRMS in favor of more up-to-date browsers. Fewer than 2% of users accessing FRMS do so via Internet Explorer and ending support for IE will allow the teams supporting FRMS to improve performance and security within FRMS more efficiently. We recommend updating to the latest version of Firefox, Google Chrome, or Microsoft Edge for uninterrupted access and ensuring FRMS functions as intended.
Workday Mobile App Support for iOS 15 Coming in October
Starting October 25, the Workday mobile app will begin supporting iOS 15 while removing support for iOS 13. Future updates will only support iPhone and iPad devices running iOS 14 and higher. Anyone needing to access Workday from iOS 13 or earlier on iPhone or iPad can still do so via a web browser. See the Employee self-service training page for more information about installing the Workday mobile app on your device.
Answers to Common Questions Recently Received by askUS Support
Can askUS Operational Support add a *DEFINE account number to Workday as a Cost Center?
Depending on the type of account, you will need to contact Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) or Sponsored Projects Award Administration (SPAA). To learn how to add a 26 or non-26 account to Workday, continue reading Add a *DEFINE Account Number to Workday as a Cost Center.
Why can’t I add our new employee to a desk in Electronic Office Management (EOM)?
Make sure they have an upgraded UT EID and are a current employee or nonemployee. To learn more about troubleshooting the issue, continue reading Adding UT EIDs to Desks in Electronic Office Manager (EOM).
Is a rescind the only way to fix an issue in Workday?
No. You can often avoid a rescind by following the steps outlined in the Rescind Transaction Guidance. If a business process is still in progress, cancel it. Even when a business process has been final approved, you may be able to fix it by taking additional action in Workday. To learn more about when to take additional action and when to request a rescind, refer to the Rescind Request Matrix.
I need access to Allocation Details, but I am not a Cost Center Manager. Can I still get access?
The Cost Center Financial Analyst role is the recommended role for anyone that needs access to Allocation Details but is not a Cost Center Manager. You should contact the Security Partner for your CSU for the specific process to follow when requesting access. For more information, continue reading Authorization for Allocation Details or visit the Allocation Details Training Resources webpage.
