Important Dates and Deadlines

Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 11/1/21 - 11/15/21.

Friday, November 19, 2021, at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the August 2021 time entry lock on November 30.

Monday, November 29, 2021

Thursday, December 2, 2021, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 11/16/21 - 11/30/21.

Wednesday, December 9, 2021, at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process, which runs Friday, December 10


Resolved – Expiring Comp Time Report Issue

We are happy to announce the issues preventing many employees from running the report, Compensatory Time Expiring for Worker - RPT0823, have been resolved. Employees can run the report in Workday as needed to determine when their comp time will expire to plan their time off more accurately. Mass Process Dates Announced for Spring 2022

Non-Tenure Track (NTT) Faculty Mass Process helps offices manage their NTT Faculty contracts by centrally processing Renew, Inactivate, and Reactivate transactions before the spring semester begins. The submission window will run from Monday, November 29 to Friday, December 10, at 5 p.m. 

Mass End Employment Date Extension Process will run from Monday, November 29, 2021, to Friday, January 14, 2022, at noon. In addition to extending the end employment date for students and nonemployees, this process can also update Scheduled Weekly Hours, Business Title, and Position Title.

The new Find Help page collects links to commonly used help, guidance, training, and other self-service resources for UT’s HR/Payroll and Financial systems into one convenient location.

While the terms Nonemployee and Academic Affiliate have a shared history at UT, this week’s Terminology Talk – Affiliates points out some distinct differences to keep in mind.

Training Opportunities – Self-Paced or Instructor-Led

askUS Self-Paced Learning allows users to engage in training lessons and exercises at their own pace and convenience. Current offerings include Workday FundamentalsWorkday for Security Partners, and Financial Fundamentals.

Virtual Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses are held via Zoom and require registration via UTLearn.
