Mass Process Guidance

Mass processes in Workday provide a way to handle cyclical business processes through a mass upload to Workday. For more information on each of these processes, please see the information below listed by business process. Monthly Mass End Additional Job / Termination Process

The monthly Mass End Additional Job/Termination process will run for all fixed-term employees and non-employees positions with an End Employment Date on or before the last day of the prior month. The effective date of the mass process will be equal to the End Employment Date on the position.  In addition, if there is an Academic Appointment associated with the position, it will be ended.

Student Mass End Employment Date Extension Process

This process is for extending the end employment date for student workers in the following populations: Tutor, Undergraduate Assistant, Academic Assistant, Graduate Assistant, Student Assistant, Student Associate, Senior Student Associate, Student Technician, Student Camp Worker, Camp Resident Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Assistant Instructor, and Graduate Research Assistant.

Mass Change Job Details for Graduate Academic Students

The Spring 2020 Mass Change Job Details Process will begin running on a daily basis in December in order to modify the End Employment Date, Job Profile, Supervisory Organization, and/or Scheduled Weekly Hours for all salaried graduate academic students in the following popularions: Assistant Instructor, Teaching Assistant, and Graduate Research Assistant.
