Financial Fundamentals Self-Paced Learning

The Financial Fundamentals self-paced course provides anyone new to UT financial systems with the foundational concepts necessary for performing the tasks of a document initiator, approver, or viewer of financial-related data. While the course presents information at an introductory level, experienced users may find individual lessons helpful as a knowledge refresher. For help with specific Financials training topics, refer to the AFM Training Resources page or search the askUS Knowledge Base.

Users with the appropriate Workday security role can now see these events in Worker History. To learn more, continue reading Automatic Compensation Events Now Visible in Worker History.

You asked US! – Answers to Common Questions

Do I need to email a copy of a completed DocuSign form to askUS?

When using an Operational Support DocuSign form to request assistance, you do not need to email the completed form or request to askUS. Once all signatures are complete, the document automatically routes to askUS Support and creates a ticket in our tracking system. Emailing a copy of the completed DocuSign form to askUS creates a duplicate ticket in the system, which could delay response to your request. For more information about using DocuSign for askUS Operational Support requests, continue reading askUS Operational Support Services DocuSign Guidance.

How do I get time approved for a worker whose manager is unexpectedly unavailable?

The Timekeeper for your unit can use the steps in the Reassign Task – Workday Instructional Guide (WIG) to reassign approval of a timesheet to themselves from a manager. If you don’t know who your Timekeeper is, refer to the askUS Knowledge Base entry View Support Roles in Workday for assistance.

How do I know that my UT Market purchase order was transmitted to the supplier?

To see the status of a UT Market purchase order, follow the steps listed in the askUS Knowledge Base entry, Verifying UT Market Purchase Orders Reach Suppliers.
