Important Dates and Deadlines

Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at noon – Student Mass End Employment Date Extension Process submission window closes for summer 2021.

Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass End Additional Job / Termination Process.

Friday, June 11, 2021 – Monthly Mass End Additional Job / Termination Process runs for June.

Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 6/1/21 - 6/15/21.

Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for March 2021.

Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at 10 p.m. – Prior Period Time Entry Lock for March 2021.


Graduate Student Anchor Job Reminder

Benefits-eligible graduate students who have summer anchor jobs and already pre-paid their summer deductions from their June 1 paycheck should retain their anchor job as their primary job throughout the summer, even if they have a new hourly position. This will prevent insurance deductions from being improperly deducted against their hourly jobs during the summer. For more information, refer to the Primary Job Guidance Workday Process Overview (WPO).


Notice of Upcoming Application Maintenance

Several HR/Payroll and Financial systems will go through routine maintenance on June 15 and 22. While you should see minimal impacts from these updates, you may experience issues if you access the affected applications during these maintenance windows.

Tuesday, June 15, 7-8 a.m. – Allocation DetailsMass Transaction Submission System (MTSS), and Date Checker Tool.

Tuesday, June 22, 7-8 a.m. – FRMSUT MarketRequest Forms System, and Background Check Administration (BCA)

Additional Time Alerts Now Active in Workday

Recently, two additional time alerts were activated as part of the Time and Absence Improvement Project. On June 1, Workday began notifying employees of unused vacation hours that will roll over to sick hours on September 1. To assist Absence Partners manage the payment of time off balances, the Payable Time Off Balances alert and improvements to the report Time Off Balances Required to Pay – RPT0371 went into effect on June 7. How do I set up routing for DEFINE VP7 or VP9 documents?

Electronic Office Management (EOM) managers and delegates can set up routing for Procurement card (Procard) Payment Vouchers (VP7) and E-Billing Payment Vouchers (VP9) by following the steps in this askUS Knowledge Base entry.

How do I set up routing for a new unit in Electronic Office Management (EOM)?

Newly created units are not automatically connected to an Electronic Office Management (EOM) electronic office. To set up routing, you must first submit a Move Unit into an Electronic Office request to the Signature Desk. A default Routing View for the unit is created automatically as part of the request. When the move is complete, the Electronic Office Manager or Delegate can change the Routing View for the unit as needed by following the Routing Views documentation.

We hired a worker for a position, but they ended up not starting. What do I do?
