Important Dates and Deadlines

Thursday, March 2 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 2/16/22 - 2/28/22.

Wednesday, March 8 at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process, which runs Friday, March 10.

Saturday, March 11, midnight-noon – Planned downtime for the Workday Spring Update

Friday, March 17 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 3/1/23 - 3/15/23.

Friday, March 24 at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the December 2022 time-entry lock on March 31.

Workday Spring Update Coming March 11

On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Workday, Inc. will implement its spring update. The update window may last up to twelve hours, from midnight to noon on March 11. For more information about the update window and how it affects Workday access, continue reading Planned Downtime for Workday Spring Update on March 11. Closing Evergreen/Job Requisitions in Workday

A recent update to Workday now allows HR Executives, HR Partners, Academic HR Executives, and Academic HR Partners to close Evergreen and Job Requisitions. This update means that holders of these roles no longer need to contact HR Strategic Workforce Solutions (SWS) to perform this action. Expanding the Availability of Workday Demo Videos

In January, we began adding demonstration videos to some Workday documentation pages to provide examples for certain processes and tasks. After receiving positive feedback from campus on these initial videos, we are expanding the program. Second Phase of Contract Payments Tracking Project Coming this Spring

In April, *DEFINE VP2 and VPE document creators will see additional audits when entering payment transactions indicated as relating to a contract. Payments will begin to audit against contract dates and amounts from Contracts+ to help ensure payments under a business contract do not exceed approved dollar limits. Why can't I see the Modify and Cancel functions for my purchase order in FRMS?

How do I find outstanding timesheets for my employees?

What are the acceptable contract number formats for the PO/CONTR# field on a VP2 Document?

If you entered a Y in the Contract? field on a VP2 or VPE document, you must enter the contract number in the PO/CONTR# field in one of the following prescribed Contracts+ formats: YYYY_NNNN, YYYY-NNNNN, YYYYNNNNNN, or DMS_NNNN.
