You asked US! – Answers to Common Questions

Need help with DEFINE, FRMS, or UT Market? Start with these answers to common questions.

How do I end a primary job retroactively when Switch Primary Job is blocked on the date I need?

For employees with multiple jobs, payroll must identify which job is primary for accurate payroll calculations.  When payroll runs for a given pay period (monthly or semi-monthly), the primary job is locked in for that period and cannot be changed. Attempting a Switch Primary Job with an effective date within a locked pay period will generate an error message. To learn how to handle this situation, continue reading When attempting to end the primary job, Switch Primary Job is blocked on the effective date the job is ending.

Can I make changes to a Purchase Order (PO)

The ability to make changes or corrections to a PO depends on the type of document you're working with. To learn how to handle each type, continue reading Corrections on a Purchase Order.

What is the difference between electronic and manual signature authority?

Aside from having signing authority over different types of documents (electronic vs. paper), an important difference is that electronic signature authority is maintained in Electronic Office Management, while manual signature authority is handled by the Signature Desk. To learn more, continue reading Electronic vs. Manual Signature Authority.
