Important Dates and Deadlines
Friday, October 28 – FWA Process Submission Window Closes
Wednesday, November 2 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 10/16/22 - 10/31/22.
Wednesday, November 9 at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process for all fixed-term employee and nonemployee positions, which runs Friday, November 11.
Thursday, November 17 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 11/1/22 - 11/15/22.
Monday, November 21 at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the July 2022 time-entry lock on November 30.

FWA Process Submission Deadline October 28
The Flexible Work Arrangements (FWA) process submission window will close on Friday, October 28, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. This is a firm deadline. After the submission window closes, offices processing FWAs can still manually add missing FWA requests in Workday. Team Time and Absence App Transition Completes November 1
On Tuesday, November 1, the separate Time and Absence and Team Time apps will disappear from the App Menu and Your Top Apps sections in Workday. This change will complete the transition to making the Team Time and Absence App the single place for all Managers, Timekeepers, Time Associates, Time Analysts, and Absence Partners to access time and absence-related tasks and reports for the workers they support. Faculty Compensation – D0002 Visualization Now Available
Now available, the Faculty Compensation – D0002 visualization provides offices that manage faculty positions with a way to view the full compensation amount for faculty members by fiscal year. The new tool categorizes compensation as either Planned or Additional, providing a complete view of faculty compensation across organizations and units. How do I verify that I submitted my time for approval in Workday?
You can verify time submission through the My Time & Absence app in Workday. The My Timesheet Completion Report, automatically visible when the app opens, provides an overview of timesheet statuses for the last six weeks. New PPS Training and Resources Webpage
A new PPS Trainings webpage is now available from Procurement and Payment Services (PPS). Training resources cover all PPS units, including Business Contracts, Historically Underutilized Business/Small Business (HUB/SB), Payment Services, and Purchasing (including UT Market and Procard). The training and resources webpage is a repository of unit-focused learning and development tools to improve university employee procurement competencies and practice. Announcing Chris Pretorius as Director of Payroll
On December 1, Accounting and Financial Management (AFM) will welcome Chris Pretorius as the next Director of Payroll. The Payroll Services team within AFM is responsible for producing and distributing payroll to approximately 29,000 employees, which includes monthly, semi-monthly, and off-cycle payrolls for employees at the university.

askUS Self-Paced Learning allows users to engage in training lessons and exercises at their own pace and convenience.
Virtual Instructor-Led Training (ILT) courses are held via Zoom and require registration through UTLearn.
