How to Find and Add Missing Mail Codes in Workday

As more university employees return to working from campus, mail codes are once again an important way to locate and communicate with offices and employees. Because many mail codes have not been added or updated in over two years, we recommend that HR Partners take a moment to run the Missing Mail Codes for Employees - RPT0290 report in Workday. The report returns a list of active workers missing a mail code, their supervisory organization, a list of their current supporting HR Partners, location, and work address.  

To update a Worker's Mail Code in Workday, start from the Worker's Profile.

  1. Select Job from the left-hand menu
  2. Select the Additional Data tab from the top menu
  3. Select Edit under Campus Mail Code
  4. Enter Campus Mail Code OR select from the drop-down list
  5. Select Ok
  6. Select Done
