Important Dates and Deadlines

Monday, January 30 at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Second January AGS Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process for the Academic Graduate Student population, which runs on Wednesday, February 1.

Thursday, February 2 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 1/16/22 - 1/31/22.

Wednesday, February 8 at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process, which runs Friday, February 10.

Thursday, February 16 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 2/1/23 - 2/15/23.

Tuesday, February 21 at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the November 2022 time-entry lock on February 28.

Employees can choose Default Display Language in Workday

To support the university's goal of increasing inclusiveness and belonging on campus, employees can now choose their preferred Default Display Language in Workday. Employees can choose between thirty-nine languages to use as their default display language using the Change Preferences task. Mass Term Process now includes Appointments and Contracts

Beginning with the February run, the Monthly Mass End Additional Job/Termination process will end any academic appointments or contracts associated with positions included in the process. Note: The change will not affect courtesy, endowment, affiliate, and emeritus academic appointments as they are not associated with positions. UT Market Updates to eShipGlobal Website

Procurement and Payment Services (PPS) recently implemented updates to eShipGlobal in UT Market to streamline shipping across campus and improve oversight and control over hazardous and foreign shipments. These updates help ensure compliance with safety and export regulations while offering other benefits to all university business shippers. What’s the best way to start teaching a new employee UT financials?

The best starting place for anyone new to UT financial systems, whether they’re an initiator, approver, or viewer of financial-related data, is Financial Fundamentals. This self-paced course teaches the foundational concepts of UT financial systems to an entry-level audience while providing experienced users with a knowledge refresher. 

Can I get a list of available Workday reports, regardless of my role?

Yes. Interested users can access a comprehensive list of all the reports included in UT Custom Reports Search - RPT0961, regardless of the role(s) they hold in Workday, by viewing the Campus Custom Reports Inventory (Excel). The file includes each report's name, description, categories, and the roles that can access each report. How do I grant a new person in my office access to FRMS?

To grant access to FRMS, you'll need to reach out to your department's Electronic Office Manager. If the person is a Nonemployee, you'll need to ensure the worker is fully privileged before proceeding. askUS Self-Paced Learning allows users to engage in training lessons and exercises at their own pace and convenience.
