Important Dates and Deadlines

Tuesday, April 4 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 3/16/22 - 3/31/22.

Wednesday, April 5 at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process, which runs Friday, April 7.

Tuesday, April 18 at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 4/1/23 - 4/15/23.

Friday, April 21 at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the January 2023 time-entry lock on April 30.

Monday, May 1 –  Mass Extension Process submission window opens for Summer 2023. The submission window will close on Wednesday, June 7, at noon.

Start Preparing for Summer 2023 with these Resources

The Preparing for Summer 2023 webpage is now available. The page contains important dates and resources to assist departments in preparing for HR processing in support of the upcoming spring semester. Topics covered include mass processes, academic and student employment, onboarding, reporting, and training.


Contract Payment Tracker set to Go Live on April 12

On April 12, the Contract Payment Tracker (CPT) will become available to campus as part of phase 2 of the Contract Payments Tracking Project. VP2 and VPE documents in DEFINE will also receive new audit functionality related to processing contract payments. Together these changes improve the ability of departments to monitor payments related to business contracts in the Contracts+ system. New Professional Student Job Families Available in Workday

Two new job families now exist in Workday as a response to the needs of Colleges, Schools, and Units (CSUs) that employ professional students. The new job families will reduce Student Employment Eligibility (SEE) report errors and help CSUs manage staffing professional students more efficiently. Workday, Inc. Plans Solution for Job Alerts Issue

Recently, Workday, Inc. announced plans to address an issue preventing many users from receiving Job Alerts as expected. The fix for the issue will occur over the weekend (March 31-April 1) during planned weekly maintenance. Those who have signed up for Job Alerts will receive a Confirmed Opt-In (COI) email to confirm their intent to subscribe. For more information, continue reading Workday, Inc. Longevity Backpay One-time Payment Routing Update

In the rare event that HR Records needs to initiate a one-time payment for Longevity Backpay, they will now include a default Cost Center and route it to the HR Partner, who will update the Cost Center, if necessary, before approving. The event will then route to the Cost Center's Manager for approval. Please contact the HRSC's Records team (hrsc@austin.utexas.edu) if you have questions about this request.
