Important Dates and Deadlines
Monday, April 4, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 3/16/22 - 3/31/22.
Wednesday, April 6, at noon – CSU Transaction Processing Deadline for the Monthly Mass EAJ/Term Process for all fixed-term employee and nonemployee positions, which runs Friday, April 8.
Tuesday, April 19, at 3 p.m. – Semi-Monthly Mass Advance of Hourly Time for 4/1/22 - 4/15/22.
Friday, April 22 – NTT F-INA 3 yrs. Mass EAJ/Term process runs for all Non-Tenure Track Faculty jobs inactive for three or more years.
Friday, April 22, at 1 p.m. – Prior Period Mass Advance of Time for the January 2022 time-entry lock on April 30.

NTT 3 Year Inactive Mass Term Process Returns in April
The Non-Tenure Track Faculty Inactive 3-Years Mass End Additional Job/Termination Process will return this spring with an initial clean-up run scheduled for April 22, 2022. The spring run includes all Non-Tenure Track Faculty jobs sitting in the F-INA job profile for three or more years as of January 16, 2022. Running this special mass term process resets the onboarding requirement for faculty members rehired after a significant period of inactivity. Offices that manage NTT faculty can prepare by referring to the Non-Tenure Track Faculty Inactive 3-Years Mass End Additional Job/Termination Process guidance. After the initial run, the process will occur annually, in October.

Are my Hearts of Texas contributions included in my W-2?
Yes. Charitable contributions made within the tax year through the Hearts of Texas or Giving to UT campaigns are reported in Box 14 of the W-2 Form and marked as CHARITY. What income tax rules apply to students in work-study positions?

Are TA/GRA salary payments considered income or scholarship/fellowship payments for tax purposes?
Income from Teaching Assistant (TA) or Graduate Research Assistant (GRA) positions is considered earned income and is taxable.
