Workday Fundamentals (Self-Paced Learning)

Exemptions granted for those who attended Workday training prior to January 2020.

Course Description

This Workday course is designed for users in HR roles those who work with employees who hold multiple jobs and employees who require additional compensation due to additional work. Part 1 of the course covers the business processes related to multiple jobs. Part 2 covers additional employment scenarios by employee population (staff, student, academic). The course consists of PowerPoint lecture, demonstrations within Workday, and quizzes intended for participants to self assess their learning.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Initiate Add Job, End, Job, and Switch Primary Job business processes
  • Understand Additional Employment concepts and know where to reference the related business rules
  • Recognize and avoid common issues arising from multiple job scenarios

Security Role Requirements

At least one of the following Workday security roles must be assigned PRIOR to enrollment in this course.
