Workday Fundamentals (Self-Paced Learning)

Exemptions granted for those who previously attended Workday training prior to January 2020.

Course Description

This Workday course is designed for users in HR roles that initiate or approve changes to workers during their employment.  The course consists of PowerPoint lecture, demonstrations within Workday, and quizzes intended for participants to self assess their learning.  After class, participants will be expected to apply their knowledge and skills by initating a Change Job in a Workday test environment (QUAL). For course credit, participants must attend class and complete the practice exercise successfully.

  • Understand the scope of the Change Job Business Process
  • Initiate Change Job Business Processes
  • Edit Position Restrictions
  • Request One-Time Payments
  • Request Compensation Changes

Security Role Requirements

At least one of the following Workday security roles must be assigned PRIOR to enrollment in this course.
