Faculty Compensation – D0002 Visualization Now Available

Now available, the Faculty Compensation – D0002 visualization provides offices that manage faculty positions with a way to view the full compensation amount for faculty members by fiscal year. The new tool categorizes compensation as either Planned or Additional, providing a complete view of faculty compensation across organizations and units.

The report is generated as a Tableau data visualization and includes an interactive dashboard displaying Annualized or Prorated compensation amounts by faculty member and position with filters to view compensation by Dean or VP Name, CSU NameJob Family, or Name/EID.

When viewing compensation for an individual whose position you are authorized to view, you will see the compensation for all the person’s positions/jobs, not just for the positions/jobs in your organization.

The visualization allows you to drill down a hierarchy of compensation types to view more granular detail about the purpose of the compensation, giving you the ability to see the reasons for salary and supplement changes, the types of supplements, and the purposes for allowances and one-time payments. To limit the types of compensation returned, users can filter by Compensation Category.
