Enterprise Technology Support is transitioning Workday documentation and resources to a new Workday Support site hosted in SharePoint. The current Workday@UT website will be retired at the end of January 2026.
The new Workday Support site is available now for those who want to check it out now. We encourage the Workday community at UT to begin using the SharePoint site and updating your bookmarks ahead of the older site’s retirement. When retired, the URL for the current site will automatically redirect users to the homepage of the new Workday Support site in SharePoint.

While the SharePoint site uses a new, cleaner design, it includes the same Workday content, structure, and menu layout. Maintaining the familiar structure of the Workday@UT site was an intentional decision to lower the learning curve necessary to effectively use the new Workday Support site
As part of an ongoing Enterprise Technology Support effort to improve the customer support experience at UT, there are other benefits worth noting.
Integration of Website and Documentation
With both the site itself and documentation being hosted in SharePoint, there’s no need to navigate back and forth between the website and UT Box to find and access documentation and other resources.
Searchable Document Library
Moving to SharePoint makes Workday documentation more discoverable, by providing improved search and multiple ways to access information. The documentation category pages from the older website still exist for users who wish to browse topics and read document summaries. Along with the familiar, the SharePoint site adds a full documentation library and improved metadata to provide new ways for you to find exactly the WIG or WPO you are looking for.
Ready for the Future
The move to SharePoint sets the table for future improvements, including closer integration with the ServiceNow knowledge base and the ability to access Workday documentation using AI-based tools.
