Available via D2I's Insights Service, the Employee Base Compensation – D0003 visualization uses data from Workday to provide authorized users with a view of base salary compensation for employees by fiscal year. It calculates Averages and Medians to allow for comparisons across Colleges, Schools, Units (CSUs), and the University by Job Profile. For Classified staff, it also includes the Compa-Ratio from Workday.

Note: This report does not include non-salary compensation such as allowances or one-time payments. Information for Faculty is available via the Faculty Compensation – D0002 report.

When accessed, the report generates a Tableau data visualization that includes an interactive dashboard displaying Average or Median compensation amounts by employee and position, and provides a number of optional filters, including Fiscal Year, Dean or VP Name, CSU Name, Job Family, Job Family Group. The Individual History dashboard allows you to view salary changes for a single employee across fiscal years.
