In April, *DEFINE VP2 and VPE document creators will see additional audits when entering payment transactions indicated as they relate to a contract. Payments will begin to audit against contract dates and amounts taken directly from a new interface with Contracts+ to help ensure payments under a business contract do not exceed their approved dollar limits.

As we approach the spring and summer vacation seasons, here are a few quick tips to help time off eligible employees track and plan for using their time-off balances. The reports mentioned in this article are all available from the My Time and Absence App or run directly by entering the report name into the Workday search bar

In January, we began adding demonstration videos to some Workday documentation pages to provide examples for certain processes and tasks. After receiving positive feedback from campus on these initial videos, we are expanding the program. 

A recent update to Workday now allows HR Executives, HR Partners, Academic HR Executives, and Academic HR Partners to close Evergreen and Job Requisitions. This update means that holders of these roles no longer need to contact HR Strategic Workforce Solutions (SWS) to perform this action.

Employees can now choose their preferred Default Display Language in Workday to support the university’s goal of increasing inclusiveness and belonging on campus. Employees can choose between thirty-nine languages to use as their default display language using the Change Preferences task.

Updated on January 3, 2023 – Workday users can now use UT Custom Reports Search - RPT0961 to search the potentially hundreds of custom reports accessible to users based on the roles they hold in Workday. The new report makes it easier for you to find the report you need by providing an interface to search by category and keyword.
