Not having the correct desk/view permissions set can prevent you from accessing documents and getting your work done. In June, an enhancement to Workday will reduce delays experienced by Recruiters when moving candidates through the recruiting process due to duplicate records. Addressing a duplicate record error often requires the Recruiter to contact the Human Resources Service Center (HRSC) to resolve the issue. The enhancement will allow HRSC to take proactive measures to reduce delays due to duplicate records

On Saturday, May 6, Workday, Inc. completed work to reactivate Job Alerts via email. Going forward, signing up for Job Alerts emails may require responding to a Confirmed Opt-In (COI) email from Workday to confirm your intent to subscribe to the alert and validate your email address.

On April 27, a change to Workday will limit the use of the worker type Contingent Worker to the A003 - Independent Contractor and A004 - Employee of Contractor job profiles. With this change, Colleges, Schools, and Units (CSUs) will need to hire all other nonemployees using the Hire business process with an employee type of Nonemployee. This change only applies to new nonemployees. CSUs will not be required to convert current Contingent Workers to employees
