On Aug. 1, 2023, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) published a revised version of the Form I-9. Workday will receive the new version on October 20, 2023. On this date, all newly initiated Complete Form I-9s will be processed on this new version. Any in-progress Form I-9s started before October 20 must be completed by Friday, October 27.

To make it easier for users to get to Workday, we are retiring the Log in to Workday webpage on the Workday@UT website. Login links on the website will now go directly to Workday, removing the necessity to click twice to get to the UT login screen for Workday

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Workday, Inc. will implement their spring update (Workday 2023 R2). During the update, Workday may be unavailable, slow, or unresponsive. Due to these potential issues, we encourage everyone to delay accessing Workday until the update is complete and the system returns to normal operation.

In Workday, the Request One-Time Payment business process recently received an update to streamline the approval process. With this update, initiators will no longer need to manually Add Approvers to route the request to the Cost Center Manager (CCM). The process will automatically route to the appropriate CCM based on the Cost Center used in the request.

The Request One-Time Payment Workday Instructional Guide (WIG) was updated to reflect this change.

Form I-9 documentation recently received updates to better align with guidance and clarify instructions, including the addition of screenshots where necessary.

The Contract Payment Tracker (CPT) recently passed the two-month mark since its release to campus. With the use of the CPT increasing, we want to bring attention to some of the enhancements now available to CPT users.
