Workday to Receive Login Update on May 2

On Saturday, May 2, we will update the Workday Login to begin using UT’s new Enterprise Authentication service. During the update window, between 9 a.m. and noon, there may be a brief period when users will be unable to log in to Workday. Prior to this update, we successfully implemented the same login change for the Workday Quality Assurance environment (Workday Qual) on Feb. 10.

The change will not impact the Workday system itself or any live information. After the update takes place, users will see a new login screen when they access Workday. Users will continue to log in with their UT EID, Password, and Two-Factor Authentication (aka Duo) as they do now. For more information and screenshots of the new login screen, please view the entry Why does the login page look different?.

Duo Adds “Remember Me” Option

Included in the login update, Duo will now give users the option to have their Two-Factor Authentication remembered for 30 days. Users can simply check the checkbox marked “Remember me for 30 days” to bypass Duo authentication for the next 30 days on the device used to make this choice. For more information and a preview of the new Duo authentication screen, see MFA: What is the "remember me" feature?
