Half-Month Salary Proration Reminder

Dec. 14, 2020

Salary and Allowance Proration Reminders Teaching Assistants (TAs), Assistant Instructors (AIs), and Faculty (9 Month) follow the 9-month academic calendar based on semester start/end dates. Positions that end 1/15/2021 for fall or positions that begin 1/16/2021 for spring will be paid exactly half of the month’s salary instead of the standard days-worked proration.

Planned Downtime for Workday Fall Update on September 12

On Saturday, September 12, 2020, Workday, Inc. will implement their fall update (Workday 2020 R2) and perform system maintenance. During the maintenance window, Workday may be unavailable, slow, or unresponsive to user input. Due to these potential issues, we encourage users to delay accessing Workday until after the update is complete and the system returns to normal operation.
