askUS Transition to ServiceNow set for late January

On January 25, 2024, askUS Support, including the existing askUS Knowledge Base, will transition to ServiceNow. The new system will consolidate enterprise support services for UT’s HR/Payroll and Financial systems into a single, convenient location.

askUS Transitions to a New Service Now Experience in December

Recent Signature Desk Request Form Enhancements

Recently, the Signature Desk request forms process received enhancements to improve the campus experience of requesting service.

New Version of Form I-9 goes into effect on October 20

Oct. 18, 2023

On Aug. 1, 2023, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) published a revised version of the Form I-9. Workday will receive the new version on October 20, 2023. On this date, all newly initiated Complete Form I-9s will be processed on this new version. Any in-progress Form I-9s started before October 20 must be completed by Friday, October 27.

Getting to Workday with fewer clicks

To make it easier for users to get to Workday, we are retiring the Log in to Workday webpage on the Workday@UT website. Login links on the website will now go directly to Workday, removing the necessity to click twice to get to the UT login screen for Workday

Planned Downtime for Workday Fall Update on September 9

On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Workday, Inc. will implement their spring update (Workday 2023 R2). During the update, Workday may be unavailable, slow, or unresponsive. Due to these potential issues, we encourage everyone to delay accessing Workday until the update is complete and the system returns to normal operation.

Workday is The University of Texas at Austin's system for human capital management and payroll (HCM/Payroll).
