Reminder — Time Period Lockout

There are times when an hourly employee may not be able to access or submit their timesheets as expected. One of these times occurs whenever Payroll Services is preparing semi-monthly paychecks and must limit access in order to prevent changes to the hourly time being used for pay calculations. This typically occurs during the Time Period Lockout, which runs from 5 p.m. on the semi-monthly payroll deadline until 7 p.m. of the following day. During this time, Timesheet submission will be locked, however, employees may continue to enter their time. While employees who are unaware of the lockout schedule may believe they are experiencing an error, they just need to be reminded of the Time Period Lockout process.
